The following steps outline how to operate OSF:-

Step1:-Start by launching OSF, which comes equipped with multiple built-in features, serving as a comprehensive solution for digital forensic investigations.


Step2:-AUTO TRIAGE tab >  fill in the required details > specify the destination path for the result file > click on "Start Scan".


Step3:-MANAGE CASE tab > New Case > fill in the required details > click on "OK".


Step4:-CREATE FRORENSIC IMAGE tab > fill in the details > click on "Create Image".


Step5:-FILE NAME SEARCH tab > describe the name of the file you want to search in the search bar > specify the extension > click on "Scan". And you will have a list below. 


Step6:-DELETED FILES SEARCH tab > specify the device to be scanned > click on "Scan". And you will have all deleted files below.

 You've now successfully acquired the basics of OSF.
