EVENT VIEWER
The Event Viewer scans text log files that are created for every system access, hardware malfunction, and other event. It then presents the information in a user-friendly interface.
TO ACCESS EVENT VIEWER:
*step one:
Accessing the Event This feature allows
for tasks to be set up that will automatically trigger in response to
specific events, providing a method of proactive system maintenance.
1. press windows+R and type eventvwr .msc and click OK
or right click the start button to get event viewer then click the event viewer.
after clicking the event viewer you will be redirected to the system.
step 2: go to the windows logs
step 3: double click the 'system'
after double-clicking the 'system' you can get all the systems information
here you can get all the information about your system :
1. when it was used.
2. what time it was logged in/off
3. which app was being used
Conclusion:
By monitoring logs for security, performance, and overall
system health, you can identify warning signs of threats or performance
problems before they worsen.
Administrators can file important logs, which is a critical step in IT regulations compliance.
