WHAT IS WIRESHARK?


Wireshark is a free, open-source network analyzer that captures and analyzes network traffic. It's used by network administrators, security professionals, and developers to troubleshoot network issues, detect security vulnerabilities, and understand how applications communicate. 
Wireshark is a packet sniffer and analysis tool. It captures network traffic from ethernet, Bluetooth and frame relay connections, among others, and stores that data for offline analysis.

WIRESHARK ON LINUX:

sudo apt-get install wireshark
sudo dpkg-reconfigure wireshark-common
sudo adduser $USER wireshark
Those commands download and update the package, and add user privileges to run Wireshark.
