Using an ATM in Delhi is Dangerous

ATM'S HACKED IN DELHI

ATM Cloning has become quite active in Delhi NCR in recent days. ATM cloning can be done in the ATM machine itself by installing a SKIMMER device above the swap space in the machine. The Skimmer device seems that t is part of the machine itself.

When you insert a card into the machine it clones it details into itself and the password of the ATM is recorded in the camera when the customer is entering his code.

There is no day in Delhi and NCR when these ATM fraudsters do not make people their victims. On April 8, Naresh Sharma, living in Sector 122, Noida, received a strange message on the mobile phone that 40 thousand rupees were withdrawn from his account.

Now before he could understand anything, another message came on his mobile that 40 thousand rupees and more have been withdrawn from his account. Naresh had his ATM card, so he was wondering how the money was withdrawn from his account without using his card. It was found that the money was withdrawn from an ATM in Ghaziabad. The theft was done through ATM card cloning.

Delhi Police says that every day many people come to the police station to report the withdrawal of money from the ATM. Many times such criminals are caught by cyber investigation but sometimes their location is not found. Everyday Delhi Police writes many such cases and apprehends many cybercriminals. Special care is needed to avoid ATM card cloning.

WHAT TO DO TO BE SAFE

Some precaution is also taken to avoid such fraud. Whenever you go to the ATM, try to shake the card swapping machine, if it is moving, it means something is wrong. Also, check the top side of the board properly whether there is any camera. If you see something wrong then immediately inform the bank staff.
