"ZOMATO FRAUD" - A Customer losses 80,000 Rupees

The video comes at a time when the food delivery app is already facing severe backlash from a large section of conservative Hindus on social media for standing up to a Hindu customer who canceled order from a restaurant as the delivery person was a Muslim.

The recent cybercrime case from Rohtak Haryana Maharishi Dayanand University MA student Sakshi suffer from a cyber-attack when she orders food from a famous food delivery company zomato, she lost is her 80000 rupees in this attack.

Sakshi says in an interview that :
"she ordered food from zomato when she received her food that was stinking she called delivery boy and said that take this food back, the boy answered that call on our customer helpline number.
when she called on the helpline number, he took his information related to his bank, mode of payment, registered mobile number, etc, while continuing over the call for 11 to 12 minutes and she lost her 80,000 rupees, almost 18 transactions have been done of total rs 80,000".

"The number Sakshi called to complain is not belong to zomato customer care," said by a representative of the zomato .

She has filed F.I.R about this fraud but there is no update in the report.

Shakshi keeps visiting zomato office and police station but still, she has not got is money back.

“This is a cyber crime. We are still investigating the matter and have summoned the area manager of Zomato. He has assured total cooperation” — Station In-charge, Gandhi Dham police station.
